Age, Gender, Email address, Meal logging data, Target weight, Fitness level

Usage Information: We collect data on how you interact with the app, including your activity, preferences, crash reports and advertising identifiers for statistical purposes.

Technical Information: This may include your IP address, advertising identifiers, cookies, software development kits, and other similar technologies.

Device Information: This may include unique device ID, device software platform/OS and firmware, mobile carrier, and preferred languages.

Health and Sensitive Information: If you input health-related data such as weight, height, dietary preferences or calorie intake, we only use this data to offer personalized tracking, diet plans and app features. This data is stored securely and not shared unless required by law or explicitly authorized by you.

Photos and AI Analysis: If you upload food images for calorie estimation, these images may be processed by AI tools. To enable this, the app requires access to your device's photo gallery and storage. Images are used solely for feature functionality and are not used to train AI models or shared without consent.

Additionally, we may store food analysis result images (user-operated) for your reference and tracking.

Height and Weight Information: We collect height and weight data that you manually input into the app. This information is used specifically to calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI) and generate historical records of your BMI over time. All data is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers or shared with any third-party platforms.

 

How We Collect Your Information

 

When you use the camera feature to scan or photograph your meals for calorie analysis.

When you create an account, including providing a name, email address or other identifying details.

When you log your meals, preferences or dietary habits as part of your personal tracking.

When you contact us for support, feedback or other communication.

When you choose to subscribe to a paid plan, such as monthly or yearly premium access.

Automatically through your device, including information such as your device type, language settings, operating system, and interaction logs (e.g. session times, crash reports).

 

How We Use Your Information

 

Provide food recognition and calorie tracking services through photo-based AI analysis

Operate and improve app features including scanning, tracking, and daily summaries

Process payments and manage subscriptions for premium features

Communicate with you regarding your account, updates, and support requests

Ensure technical performance and detect any misuse or security risks

To calculate BMI. We use your height and weight data exclusively to calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI). The BMI is computed based on World Health Organization (WHO) standards and displayed for your reference. Please note, the BMI data is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute medical advice. If you have any health-related concerns, please consult a healthcare professional for personalized guidance.

 

Data Collection and Server Processing

 

We may collect certain personal and usage information, such as meal logging data, app activity, and device information, and upload it to our secure servers. This data is used solely for analysis, improving app functionality, and providing personalized features. We do not share this information with third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law.

 

Data Sharing

 

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties. However, there are instances where we may share non-personal or aggregated data with third parties for specific purposes.

Service Providers: We may share with third-party service providers who assist us in operating our app and providing services. These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and are only permitted to use your information for the specified purposes.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

Height, Weight and BMI Data: We only use the height and weight data that you manually input into the app to calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI) and generate historical records of your BMI over time. All this data is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers or shared with any third-party platforms.

We will only share your personal information with third parties when necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, or when we have your explicit permission. If you wish to exercise your right to opt out of allowing sale, sharing or selling of your personal data, you can contact us by i2.app@i2.ai or any available support entrance in the app. Once we receive your request, we will ensure that your data is no longer sold or shared in ways you have opted out of.

 

Data Security

 

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration disclosure or destruction. We use industry-standard encryption protocols and secure servers to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of your data. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We limit access to your personal information to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal information on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal information breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

 

Health App Integration

 

Lifooda can integrate with third-party health and fitness applications (such as Google Fit, Apple Health, and Samsung Health) to enhance your health tracking experience.

With your explicit consent, we access the following information:

Steps: Your daily step count is used to calculate calories burned and provide a more accurate daily energy balance.

This data is used solely to provide core app functionality, including personalized calorie tracking and health insights. The health data is processed securely and is either stored locally on your device or only used within the app as necessary to provide these features. We do not sell, rent, or share your health data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Users can revoke access to their health data at any time through their device settings or the connected health platform settings or the app setting.

Without access to this data, certain features such as accurate calorie tracking may not function properly.

 

Your Rights

 

As a user, you have certain rights regarding your personal data, which are designed to give you control and transparency. These rights include:

Access: You can request to see the personal data we hold about you and obtain a copy of it.

Correction: If your personal data is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request that we correct or update it.

Deletion: You can ask us to delete your personal data if it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected, or if you withdraw your consent where applicable.

Right to Know About Data Sharing: You have the right to know whether your personal data is shared with third parties. This includes information on the types of data shared, the purposes of sharing, and any third parties with whom your data is shared. ("Share" has a specific definition under California law.)

Complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that your personal data is not being processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

 

Children's Privacy

 

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or other age as required by local law). If you learn that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, you may contact us at i2.app@i2.ai. We will promptly take steps to delete such information and terminate the child's account.

 

Deletion of Data

 

You have the right to delete your account and associated data at any time. To initiate the deletion process, please visit your account settings page and click on the "Delete Account" button. Upon confirming your decision, your account will be deleted immediately.

If you do not have a "Delete Account" option on your device, you can contact us at i2.app@i2.ai or any other available access and we will attempt to accommodate your request if we are not legally obligated to retain the record.

 

Data Retention and Deletion

 

We retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including improving our services and ensuring operational functionality. Data may also be retained to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. Inactive account data may be retained for a period of up to 6 months after the last activity.

We will take reasonable steps to address your request and delete any data if possible. Please note that some information may need to be retained for legal or operational reasons, and we may not be able to fulfill deletion requests in such cases.

California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

 

If you are a resident of California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you the following rights regarding your personal data:

The right to know about the personal data we collect about you and how it is used; the right to know whether your personal data is shared with third parties and how it's shared; the right to know whether your personal data is sold;

The right to delete personal data collected from you(with some exceptions);

The right to opt-out of allowing the "sale" or sharing of your personal data as those terms are defined by the CCPA;

Please note CCPA defines "sell" and "personal data" very broadly, and some of our data sharing described in this Privacy Policy may be considered a "sale" under those definitions. To opt-out from sales or sharing of personal information, please send request via support@buspuzzle.com.
